The president of worldwide marketing for Summit Entertainment, Nancy Kirkpartrick, told Entertainment Weekly, "While it is studio policy not to comment of the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November's opening of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.' We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike."
Last week, Us Weekly released paparazzi photos of the 22-year-old Stewart and "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders in a "steamy rendezvous" in Los Angeles. According to the magazine, Stewart and Sanders, a 41-year-old married father of two, were driving around L.A. looking for discreet places to embrace.
Before the pictures hit newsstands, Stewart issued a statement apologizing for her "momentary indiscretion" and saying that her choice "jeopardized" her relationship with her boyfriend and "Twilight" co-star Pattinson.
Saunders also issued a statement, saying that he is "praying" his family will get through the ordeal together.
