Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard welcome daughter Lincoln
It's a girl for Kristen Bell and Dax Sheperd.
The couple has welcomed a daughter named Lincoln, Sheperd announced via Twitter on Thursday:
Baby Lincoln is the first child for Bell, 32, and Shepard, 38. The couple, engaged since 2009, announced in November that they were expecting.
During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" back in January, Bell said this of giving birth: "I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it's over because I've seen the videos -- and it looks terrifying."
Shepard appears on the NBC series "Parenthood" and has had roles in films like "Hit and Run," "Baby Mama" and "Employee of the Month."
Bell, who currently stars on Showtime's "House of Lies," will soon be reprising her "Veronica Mars" role in a Kickstarter-funded movie adaptation of the TV series. The project, which reached its $2 million fundraising goal in less than 24 hours, is gearing up to begin production this summer for a 2014 release.
