Kris Jenner involved in traffic collision in Calabasas, officials say
LOS ANGELES -- Sheriff's officials say Kris Jenner has been involved in a traffic collision but did not require serious medical treatment at the scene.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Lt. Ed Winslow says preliminary information from the scene showed that Jenner's vehicle collided with a car that turned in front of hers while trying to get onto a freeway in Calabasas shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Jenner is the ex-wife of Olympic gold medalist Caitlyn Jenner and mother of Kim Kardashian.
Kris' youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, tweeted confirmation that her mother was involved in an accident. In an earlier tweet, Kylie said her mother was okay.
Winslow says Kris Jenner and the other driver both declined to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. He did not know the extent of any injuries, but said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, and no citations were issued.
An email sent to Kris Jenner's company seeking comment was not immediately returned.
