Kim Kardashian shares "high-risk pregnancy" concerns

Life isn't always easy for Kim Kardashian.

The "Selfish" author opened up about her struggles in a blog post, and wrote that she is "definitely scared" about giving birth for a second time because she has a "high-risk pregnancy."

Kardashian, 35, also suffered from preeclampsia while pregnant with daughter North West, and she's worried she'll have some of the same problems with the next delivery.

"With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preeclampsia and placenta accreta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery," said the reality star.

Kardashian suffered from placenta accreta during her first delivery, which means that her placenta did not come out after she gave birth because it was attached to her uterus.

She detailed how difficult the process was.

"My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!! My mom was crying; she had never seen anything like this before," wrote Kardashian. "My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that -- it was the most painful experience of my life! They gave me a second epidural but we were racing against time, so I just had to deal."

She even revealed that she might need a "hysterectomy after delivery if [her] condition is severe enough," though her doctor does not think it will be necessary.

Kardashian and her husband Kanye West are expecting a boy.
