Kim Kardashian goes to the Marine Corps. Ball

Kim Kardashian is the latest celebrity to step out at a Marine Corps. Ball.

The reality TV star accompanied Sgt. Martin Gardner at the HQ Battery 10th Marine Birthday Ball in Greenville, N.C., on Thursday.

Wearing a red Roland Mouret gown, Kardashian, 32, was photographed walking in with her date. See the photo here.

E! News reports that Gardner invited Kardashian a few months ago, but kept his identity a secret from the public.

Kardashian tweeted about the event afterwards:

Just left the Marine Corps Ball. Thanks to all of the marines I had the opportunity to meet tonight ! Thank you for all that you do!

Kardashian took a break from shooting "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami" to attend the ball.

Justin Timberlake, Kristin Cavallari and Mila Kunis have also attended military balls in the past.
