Keyshawn Slapped With Fine

Keyshawn Johnson and two teammates were fined $5,000 each for dancing in the end zone after one of Tampa Bay's touchdowns in a 38-35 victory over the St. Louis Rams last Monday night.

Johnson, who insisted did nothing more than bend over and rest his hands on his knees because he was tired after catching an 8-yard TD pass in the second quarter, said he will appeal the fine.

Tight ends Dave Moore and Patrick Hape, who joined Johnson, also were fined.

The NFL has banned choreographed celebrations, including the Bob 'N Weave, which was made famous by the Rams en route to winning the Super Bowl last season. Several St. Louis players were fined a total of $90,000 for doing the dance during a victory over Minnesota on Dec. 10.

"I didn't do anything," Johnson said Friday. "I didn't do the Bob 'N Weave. I don't dance. That's not me."
