Kesha breaks silence on Dr. Luke legal battle
Pop star Kesha, who is embroiled in a legal battle against Sony and producer Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), broke her silence on the case by thanking her fans on Instagram.
Though the singer didn't get into details, she said she is very grateful for the support.
It's not only fans who have stood behind the singer. Celebrities like Taylor Swift, who donated $250,000 to help pay for Kesha's legal fees, and Kelly Clarkson have also demonstrated their support.
Kesha posted a selfie on Instagram and wrote, "I am beyond words in gratitude. thank you is not enough but it is all I have. a million times over and forever thank you. the support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much."
She then concluded her note with a promise that she will speak out more about the issue: "a statement too large for this format is coming...."
It looks like the battle isn't over yet, even after a judge shot down Kesha's request to break her contract.
