Kenny G's wife files for legal separation
(CBS) Kenny G and his wife are parting ways after 20 years of marriage.
Lyndie Benson-Gorelick filed for legal separation from the musician in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences."
According to People, the documents were filed on Jan. 9.
Benson-Gorelick is reportedly requesting full physical custody of their only minor child, a 14-year-old son named Noah. The couple also has another son.
Kenny G (whose real name is Kenneth Bruce Gorelick) and Benson-Gorelick have both hired lawyers, TMZ reports. She is being represented by Gary Fishbein, whose former clients include Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie. The saxophonist has hired Laura Wasser, who has represented Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry and rocker Nikki Sixx.
