PORTLAND, Ore. - A former Portland coach has been arrested in a sex abuse and child pornography investigation.
The Oregonian reports 42-year-old Kenneth "Scott" Carroll was arrested in western Montana, and has been jailed on charges of sexual abuse, sodomy and unlawful sexual penetration.
The Clackamas County sheriff's office says the crimes date to 1998-2002 when Carroll coached boys' wrestling and football.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating reports from adults who say they were abused in their early teens where Carroll coached in football and wrestling programs.
