Kendall Jenner gets set up on a date by Justin Bieber

(CBS) At 17, Justin Bieber is putting his matchmaking skills to the test.

The teen singer is trying to set up Kendall Jenner, who is a model and Kim Kardashian's younger half-sister, on a date with one of his friends.

"Hey Kendall Jenner, you should let my boy [Julian Swirsky] take you out on a date," Bieber wrote on his Twitter feed Tuesday.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind that," pal Swirsky, a 16-year-old writer/producer, tweeted his approval.

So is Jenner, 15, up for the date?

"Only if you and Selean Gomez join!" she wrote to Bieber.
