Kendall Jenner gets free year of Lyft rides after alleged Uber ban
Kendall Jenner is seriously cashing in after she was allegedly banned from ride app Uber: Competitor Lyft has stepped in to offer the model and reality star a year of free rides.
Jenner told fans about her windfall on Snapchat.
“Hi guys. I just got in my Lyft. I’m so excited. Thank you, Lyft, for the free rides and for taking care of me,” she said before blowing a kiss.
On Aug. 26, Kim Kardashian West claimed in a Snapchat video that her younger sister was banned from Uber, reports Us Weekly.
“Yeah, she’s suspended,” Kardashian West said.. “So we just wanna know, why was Kendall suspended? She’s literally, like, a model passenger.”
It’s not clear why Jenner was suspended, though a source told Us Weekly that “it was a minor issue with her account and it’s been resolved.”
Regardless, the snafu has worked to Jenner’s benefit. In case you were wondering, the model earned $10 million in 2015, according to Forbes.
