Kelly Curtis Followed in Acting Footsteps of Famous Father

(CBS) Jamie Lee Curtis is the best-known child of actor Tony Curtis, who died Wednesday night in Las Vegas, but she is not his only child. She has a sister and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

Jaime's older sister, Kelly Curtis, is also an actress and has served as her assistant in several recent movies. Kelly was born to Tony Curtis and his first wife, actress Janet Leigh, on June 17, 1956. She started acting in her 20s and appeared in such films as "Trading Places" and "Mixed Blessings." She also had roles in numerous TV shows, such as "Kojak" "The Equalizer" and "Judging Amy."

With his German-born second wife, Tony Curtis also two daughters, Alexandra, born in 1964, and Allegra, born in 1966. Both daughters did modeling in their youth.

With his third wife, Leslie Allen, he had two sons, one of whom died of an overdose when he was 23.
