Katy Perry brings Smurf fashion to a new level

The pop singer, known for her quirky - and scanty - outfits, turned heads in a short, strapless and glittery Smurf dress when she walked the red carpet on Sunday night for the New York premiere of "The Smurfs."
She paired the summer look with matching blue eye shadow, newly blonde curls and heels.
In case you were wondering, Perry was there because she voices Smurfette in the film, which opens in theaters on Friday.
Also on the red carpet this week were cast mates Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Sofia Vergara, Tim Gunn, George Lopez and Jeff Foxworthy.
