Nominations for the 27th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced July 18 by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Among the frontrunners are PBS with 33 nominations; NBC with 19; CBS with 16 and ABC with 14.
The News and Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented Sept. 25, 2006, during a black-tie ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, attended by more than 700 television and new media industry executives, news and documentary producers and journalists.
