So how did Justin Bieber go from YouTube to international music fame?

Bieber said he was first approached by someone from the Maury Povich show. But his mom said, "no."

Justin's mom was a bit skeptical of the music business and didn't want to sign anything. But a fateful trip to Atlanta led Bieber to sign with Usher's label.

Apparently Usher wasn't the only music superstar who wanted to sign him. Justin Timberlake and others expressed interest in signing Bieber.

"Both Usher and Justin, you know, wanted to sign me," Bieber said. "So it was pretty crazy."
