(CBS/AP) HYDE PARK, N.Y. - Police say a body found near a Hudson Valley park over the weekend was that of an 18-year-old local woman, and they're investigating her death as a homicide.

Hyde Park Police Chief Charles Broe says Kathryn Filiberti's body was found just after noon Saturday near Greentree Park in the Dutchess County town, 75 miles north of New York City.

An autopsy was conducted Sunday but the cause of death has not been released.

Broe says they want to speak with anyone who was near where Filiberti's body was found between late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

Hyde Park police and sheriff's deputies spent Sunday searching the wooded neighborhood of single-family homes.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Hyde Park Police Department at 845-229-9340 or the town's police tip line at 845-229-7788.
