Kate Winslet loses her cool in Roman Polanski's "Carnage" (Trailer)

(CBS) Kate Winslet may have kept her cool while escaping a fire at British businessman Richard Branson's island home, but she loses it completely in a new trailer for "Carnage."

The Roman Polanski film, adapted from the award-winning play "God of Carnage," also stars Christoph Waltz, Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly.

The story focuses on two sets of parents who try to sort things out after their sons have a fight on the playground. But what begins as a civil discussion soon devolves into chaos.

"Carnage" will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and will also be screened at the New York Film Festival. It will open in U.S. theaters on Dec. 16.
