(CBS) Kate Moss closed Louis Vuitton's runway show in a feathery white dress on Tuesday during Paris Fashion Week.

This appearance was far more subdued than the last time she walked for the French fashion house. Last season, the British supermodel sported bondage-inspired boots, black hot pants and lit a cigarette on stage.

"She asked to be in the show," designer Marc Jacobs told reporters backstage, according to the Telegraph. "And she's a very dear friend so...happy to oblige."

Jacobs' spring-summer 2012 show for Louis Vuitton featured the models perched atop a life-sized white carousel. The clothes featured '60s-inspired shapes, cream and pastel colors and feminine details.

Moss donned another notable white dress recently - she wore a gown designed by John Galliano when she married rocker Jamie Hince in July.
