Kate Middleton dons second McQueen dress at evening reception
(CBS) - Kate Middleton slipped into a second gown by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton for the post-wedding dinner dance at Buckingham Palace.
The more party-appropriate dress is made of white satin and features a circle skirt, a sweetheart neckline and an embellished waistband. Middleton, who let her hair down for the event, completed her look with a white shrug.

Her new husband, Prince William, also made a wardrobe change, trading in his military uniform for a classic black tuxedo.
Earlier in the day, Middleton wowed royal wedding watchers when she married William at Westminster Abbey in a long-sleeved, lace and satin Burton-designed gown. Commentators and onlookers compared the gown to the one film actress Grace Kelly wore when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco in April of 1956.
Friday's evening reception for 300 close family and friends was hosted by Prince Charles. Along with a rumored disco theme, the party included a best man speech from Prince Harry, who is said to have planned an early-morning "survivors" breakfast.
