Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting raves about new "Big Bang Theory" season
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting sure seems excited for this season on "The Big Bang Theory."
The 29-year-old actress told ET at the Beverly Hilton's 60th anniversary bash over the weekend that the upcoming season of the long-running comedy is "off to a great start," and while she couldn't give too many details, gave fans a big reason to be excited.
"Between Leonard and Penny... All the dreams came true for me," gushed Kaley, who attended the party thrown by the hotel, partnered with celeb jeweler Neil Lane for its "Diamond" anniversary. Also in attendance were Gavin DeGraw and Topher Grace.
ET caught up with Kaley's co-stars Mayim Bialik and Kunal Nayyar at Comic-Con in July, where they talked even more about the sitcom.
"We're the show about people who come to Comic-Con," Mayim said. "We're not like those other shows. We're not here because we have that following, we're here because we're a show about that following."
As for that heartbreaking scene in last season's finale, in which Amy told Sheldon that she wanted to "step back and re-evaluate" their relationship, Mayim said the cast was just as surprised as the fans.
"We were all shocked," she said. "I think there was an audible gasp by most of the cast. That's a big ending. It means a lot for the relationship, but also for the show in general."
Season nine of "The Big Bang Theory" will premiere Monday, Sept. 21 on CBS.
