Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen win big at MuchMusic Video Awards

(CBS News) Canadian stars ruled at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night in Toronto.

"Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen, a Vancouver native, was the night's biggest winner, picking up video of the year, UR FAVE video of the year and most-watched video of the year.

Canadian-born pop star Justin Bieber also won big, taking home UR FAVE artist or group, as well as international video of the year by a Canadian for his single, "Boyfriend."

"Thank you so much," Bieber said up upon accepting his award. "I want to say thank you so much to my home. I want to say thank you to all my family, my fans, I wouldn't be here without you guys. You guys are amazing, I love you."

California native Katy Perry, meanwhile, scored the international video of the year artist award for "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)."

Presenters included singer Cody Simpson, "Glee" actors Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, singer Jesse Metcalfe, actor Rico Rodriguez, among others.

The star-studded event also featured Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado and Flo Rida.
