Jury selection in murder of Rhoni Reuter, girlfriend of ex-Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle

(CBS/WBBM) WAUKEGAN, Ill.-- Jury selection is set to begin Tuesday in the trial of Marni Yang, the woman accused of killing the pregnant girlfriend of ex-Chicago Bears player Shaun Gayle.

Yang is charged with first-degree murder and the intentional homicide of an unborn child, in the 2007 shooting death of Rhoni Reuter. Officials say Reuter was seven months pregnant.

Yang's defense has suggested that Gayle was involved with the murder of Reuter, by hiring Yang to do the job for him, according to WBBM. 

The trial is expected to take up to three weeks.
