"Jupiter Ascending": Watch the trailer

A trailer for "Jupiter Ascending," the latest sci-fi film from Andy and Lana Wachowski ("The Matrix," "Cloud Atlas"), has debuted online.

Mila Kunis stars as Jupiter Jones, a young woman from Earth who is "next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos," according to the futuristic film's official description. Channing Tatum -- sporting a goatee and pointed ears -- also stars as Caine, a "genetically engineered ex-military hunter" tasked with tracking her down.

"Jupiter Ascending" is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2014.
