John Stamos charged with DUI after June arrest in Beverly Hills
LOS ANGELES - Actor John Stamos was charged with drugged driving Friday, a misdemeanor that could carry up to six months in jail.
Stamos, 52, was arrested in Beverly Hills in June. According to prosecutors, people called police to report he was behaving strangely and driving erratically. He was taken to a nearby hospital and then released. Soon after, Stamos checked himself into rehab, where he stayed for a month.
Beverly Hills police would not comment on what drug or drugs were in Stamos' system at the time of his arrest.
Stamos is the star of the new Fox series, "Grandfathered," and played Uncle Jesse on the sitcom "Full House." He is also set to appear in "Fuller House," the Netflix re-boot of the series.
