Joely Fisher Mourns Her Late Father, Eddie Fisher
NEW YORK (CBS) Actress Joely Fisher today is mourning her late father Eddie Fisher who died on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old television actress is the daughter of late singer and the half sister of Carrie Fisher.
She is perhaps best known to audiences for her work on the sitcom "Ellen" as the character Paige Clark.
More recently, she was on the Fox sitcom "'Til Death," playing the wife of Brad Garret.
Born on Oct. 29, 1967, in Burbank, Calif., to Eddie Fisher and actress Connie Stevens, she has been in show business since she was a child.
At the age of 7, Fisher started her career with her performance in
her mother's act in Las Vegas. One of the achievements was serving as Miss Golden Globe in 1992.
Her first role was in the 1986 comedy movie "Pretty Smart" as the character Averil, which also starred her sister Tricia.
She is married to cinematographer Christopher Duddy, with whom she has two children: Skylar Grace (born June 14, 2001) and True Harlow (born Feb. 2, 2006).
