Joan Rivers makes "amazing" final appearance on "Celebrity Apprentice"
Joan Rivers made one final appearance on "The Celebrity Apprentice" before her death.
On the NBC reality competition show, which airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET, Rivers acts as an adviser to Trump following her season 8 "Celebrity Apprentice" win at the age of 76.
Trump tweeted his excitement for Joan's episode, writing: "Monday night at 8:00 will be must see television. Our wonderful Joan Rivers plays a major role as my adviser on the Apprentice. AMAZING!"
During the 2015 Winter Television Critics Association (TCA) Tour, Trump explained to ET why he kept Rivers in the show.
"Throughout history that's always been a tough decision what do you do," Trump said of Rivers' untimely death, "and she was so good we decided we'd leave it. She was incredible and very inspirational, so it's in memoriam to Joan Rivers."
When asked if Joan was tough on the contestants, Trump admitted that she did not hold back. "It was her in her prime, and I think people are going to get a great kick out of watching," he told ET. "And I'm sure she's going to be looking down and very proud of it."
Joan, 81, died on Sept. 4, 2014 of brain damage due to lack of oxygen after she stopped breathing days earlier during an endoscopy.
