Jinger Duggar announces courtship with Jeremy Vuolo
Will Jinger Duggar be the next in the family to tie the knot?
The 22-year-old reality star announced on TLC's website on Monday that she and 28-year-old soccer player Jeremy Vuolo are officially courting.
"As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord, and be very intentional about how we move forward," Vuolo, who plays goalkeeper for the San Antonio Scorpions, explains in their video announcement.
"I met Jeremy last May and then we had the opportunity to go on a mission trip together," Jinger recalls. "It was there that I really saw his heart and admired his character."
The two say their relationship evolved after that when Jeremy reached out to her father, Jim Bob Duggar, for permission to get to know her better.
"We are very excited to begin this journey together, and for you to join us along the way," Vuolo adds.
Fans of the Duggars will be able to follow Jinger's courtship on her family's TLC show, "Counting On."
So far, the show has focused primarily on Jinger's two older sisters, Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, who have married and each given birth to baby boys, as well as the family's reaction to Josh Duggar's admission to infidelity.
If all goes well with the couple's courtship, there might be another Duggar wedding before we know it!
