Jimmy Kimmel officates Matt Damon's vow renewal
If humor is the key to a successful relationship, then Matt Damon and wife, Luciana, are set for life, because what could be funnier than having Jimmy Kimmel marry (or re-marry) you?
Damon and his wife renewed their vows on Saturday in St. Lucia in a celebrity- and comedy-filled affair. Kimmel officiated the ceremony (which was reportedly a surprise to all invited), and A-list stars such as Stanley Tucci and wife Felicity Huffman, Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky, dress designer Naeem Khan and wife Ranjana, director Gus Van Sant, Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky, actor Chris Messina and wife Jennifer Todd, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and Damon's close friend Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner were all on hand to help the couple celebrate.
The pair were originally married in a small, private ceremony in December 2005, but apparently wanted to go big for their renewal. According to Us Weekly, Damon, 42, and Luciana, 36, had been planning the extravaganza with wedding planner Bryan Rafanelli for several months.
"They've wanted to do it for a long time," a friend said of the three-day affair. "They had a tiny ceremony the first time, and wanted to celebrate with family and friends."
The pair are parents to Isabella, 6, Gia, 4, Stella, 2, and Alexia, Luciana's daughter from a previous marriage.
