Jim Durham
This will be Jim Durham's first year as a play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports' coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.
He is currently in his fourth season as a television play-by-play announcer for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. He also calls NBA Game-of-the-Week for ESPN Radio
Durham called the Olympic Triplecast games for NBC during the 1992 Summer Games.
His broadcast experience also includes being the the voice of Chicago White Sox when he served as their play-by-play anouncer from 1989-90, did play-by-play for the Houston Astros on HSE from 1983-85, served as host of White Sox studio show from 1977-80.
Durham began broadcasting Chicago Bulls games for WIND Radio in 1973 and won two Emmy Awards for work on "BullsBeat", a weekly Bulls show for SportsChannel.
He is a three-time winner of Illinois Sportscaster of the Year Award (1979, 1989, 1990)
Born Feb. 12, 1947 in Chicago, Ill, Durham resides in Rose Hill, Texas, with wife and son.
