"Jersey Shore" stars getting MTV spin-offs
(CBS/AP) "Jersey Shore" won't be the last we see of Pauly, Snooki and Jenni. MTV has given the three stars their own spin-offs.
MTV announced on Thursday that Nicole "Snooki'" Polizzi and Jenni "J"Woww'' Farley will co-star with one another in their own spin- off giving fans an in-depth look at their friendship.
Paul "'DJ Pauly" D' Delvecchio has also signed on for his own spin-off, set to explore his life as he builds his DJ career internationally.
"The 'Jersey Shore' cast is at the center of the show's ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities," said Chris Linn, MTV executive vice president of programming and head of production. "We're excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us."
Both projects remain untitled at the moment and are scheduled to air in 2012.
The fourth season of "Jersey Shore" is set to begin filming in Italy soon and fans are eagerly waiting for what adventures the guidos and guidettes gets themselves into this time around.
