Jerry Lewis Released From Hospital
Jerry Lewis is recuperating on his boat in San Diego after surgery.
His manager says Lewis is already working the phones for his annual Labor Day telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Claudia Marghilano says Lewis, who is 80, was released from a hospital Saturday after doctors inserted a stent in an artery following a heart attack eight days ago.
He's also taking medication for pneumonia, which often strikes people with pulmonary fibrosis, a lung ailment Lewis has been fighting since 2000.
There is no word on whether Lewis plans to reschedule the live Las Vegas performances in July that he postponed after his heart attack.
