Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson are Official "Idol" Judges

NEW YORK (CBS) After months of speculation, Fox finally made the official announcement at a Los Angeles press event, which was also streamed on the show's website and Facebook page  Wednesday. Host Ryan Seacrest introduced the panel.

As the show gears up for its 10th season,  Jackson will be the only returning judge. Tyler and Lopez, both labeled as front-runners for the job in recent weeks, will fill the vacant seats of Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres.

The 10th season of "Idol" will start in January.
