Jennifer Lopez launching residency in Las Vegas
Jennifer Lopez is the latest star putting roots down in Las Vegas.
The singer will launch a residency in Sin City at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino's AXIS Theater starting on Jan. 20, 2016.
"I've been preparing for this moment my entire life," she said in a statement. "The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love - dance, hip-hop, Latin and pop. It's going to be the show I've always dreamt of creating."
Lopez, 45, has dates scheduled for January, February, May and June of next year. The first batch of shows goes on sale Saturday.
Lopez isn't the only pop star in Vegas. Both Britney Spears and Mariah Carey currently have ongoing residencies set up there.
