Between her roles in the "X-Men" and "Hunger Games" franchises, award-winning turns in "American Hustle" and "Silver Linings Playbook," the red carpet tumbles and all those quote-worthy interviews, people have been seeing a lot of Jennifer Lawrence these days.

No one, it seems, is more aware of that than Lawrence herself. And while folks are still laughing at her antics and wishing she was their BFF, the star knows it probably won't stay that way.

"Nobody can stay beloved forever," she told Marie Claire in the magazine's June issue. "I never believed it, the whole time. I was like, just wait: People are going to get sick of me. My picture is everywhere, my interviews are everywhere; I'm way too annoying because I get on red carpets and I'm really hyper, most likely because I've been drinking, and I can't not photo-bomb somebody if it's a good opportunity. But it's something I always tell myself: 'You need to calm the f--k down. You don't want to constantly be a GIF.'"

Of her much-talked-about candor, the 23-year-old added, "I'm not like, 'I'm a rebel; I'm out of control.' I just don't think about things before I say or do them."

But is it all an act? Were those Academy Awards stumbles a ploy to make her seem authentic?

"Trust me, if I was going to plan it, I would have done it at the Golden Globes or the SAGs," she joked. "I would have never done it at two Oscars in a row. I watch 'Homeland' -- I'm craftier than that!"

Lawrence also opened up to the magazine about her long distance relationship with her "X-Men: Days of Future Past" co-star Nicholas Hoult, 24.

"When we're busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other," she revealed. "Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn't text back or call. Life's super-busy. Obviously you know what they're doing, and you trust them. We're so young that it would almost be like if we lived in the same city, what would happen? We'd be living together. At least this way he's in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other."

And when it comes to rumors about their relationship -- for instance, a report that claimed she was jealous of Kristen Stewart, Hoult's co-star in the upcoming film "Equals" -- she addresses them with her signature brand of humor.

"There was something in a magazine, and I was like, 'Oh, my God, that's hilarious,' because Kristen and I are friends," she said. "I actually texted her a picture of it and was like, 'Just so you know, this is absolutely true.'"

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" opens May 23. The June issue of Marie Claire hits newsstands May 20.
