Jennifer Hudson hospitalized

(CBS) Singer Jennifer Hudson has been released from a New York hospital after treatment for food poisoning Friday.

The Chicago native was rushed to the hospital Friday morning with abdominal pains, according to online reports.

She fell ill after performing on "Good Morning America." A spokesperson later told RadarOnline.com that Hudson was treated for food poisoning and then released.

She missed a scheduled appearance on the "The Early Show" because of the illness.

The 29-year-old Oscar winner is currently promoting her second album, "I Remember Me," and her upcoming movie, "Winnie," about Nelson Mandela's wife.
