Jay Z to bring Made in America to Los Angeles
Jay Z is bringing his Made in America music festival to Los Angeles.
The music mogul was joined by the city's mayor Wednesday at Los Angeles City Hall to announce the two-day concert, which is planned for Labor Day weekend and will be held simultaneously with one in Philadelphia.
The Budweiser Made in America festival could draw 50,000 concertgoers to downtown Los Angeles. Performers have yet to be announced.
Last year's performers included Beyonce, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick Lamar, Phoenix, Imagine Dragons, A$AP Rocky, Public Enemy and Miguel.
The Los Angeles City Council has expressed concern that such a crowd could be disruptive for downtown residents.
