Jay-Z raps about Beyonce's baby, miscarriage
In a new song posted to his website, superstar rapper Jay-Z reveals new details about his private life, including the fact that his wife Beyonce had a miscarriage in the past.
In the tribute song, "Glory," Jay-Z expresses his joy over the birth of his daughter Blue Ivy Carter, born over the weekend in New York. In one line of the song, Jay-Z raps, "Last time, the miscarriage was so tragic. We was afraid you would disappear. But nah, baby, you magic."
Miscarriage is a difficult subject for a lot of women to talk about. "CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King spoke about it with new contributor Lee Woodruff.
Woodruff shared her own personal experience with miscarriages. Describing her two miscarriages, she said, "You get this sort of shameful feeling. There's a feeling of kind of inadequacy. You're the woman carrying the baby so you must have done something wrong and men and women grieve in different ways. Women want to talk about it, parse it over, and men are more stoic."
