Jane Kaczmarek
Wisconsin native Jane Kaczmarek majored in theater at the University of Wisconsin and broke into the profession first at a small company with pal Tony Shalhoub (also a 2006 nominee). That later led her to Broadway, where she appeared in the hit "Lost in Yonkers."
Kaczmarek guest-starred on a slew of 90's TV series, including "Picket Fences," "Frasier," "Party of Five," and "Felicity." She landed her "Malcolm in the Middle" role as Lois, a harried mother of four, in 2000 and has received a whopping seven Emmy nods.
She is married to "West Wing" actor Bradley Whitford. They have three children.
