NEW YORK (CBS) Jamie Lee Curtis turned down an offer to be on "Dancing with the Stars," but watching fellow actress Jennifer Grey perform is giving her second thoughts.

The actress sat front row for Grey's "DWTS" debut last week.

"I wont be able to do it because my family commitments are such that I wouldn't have the time for it," Curtis told Access Hollywood at the "You Again" premiere. "I did do some moves in my kitchen all by myself at about 6:30 this morning -- like some quick steps and I was like, 'Yeah, I've got it!'... It's funny -- it definitely, definitely made me go, 'Hmmm.'"

"I'm not going to, but it was fun to think about it," she added.

She also said she plans to continue supporting Grey, who is a longtime friend, as she competes on the show.

"I was in the Team Jennifer Grey, uh... like, pen," she said. "I'm hoping to be front row for Team Jennifer every week if I can. I'm going to try to."

Grey and partner Derek Hough earned rave reviews last week for their waltz, and came in on top again Monday night, when their energetic jive brought the audience to its feet.
