Jaime King expecting first child

Jaime King is going to be a mom.

The "Hart of Dixie" star is pregnant, her rep told People on Friday. She and husband Kyle Newman will welcome their first child later this year.

King, 34, plays Lemon Breeland on the CW series, which was recently picked up for a third season. She has also appeared in films like "Pearl Harbor," "Bulletproof Monk," "Sin City" and "My Bloody Valentine 3D."

King and Newman, a 37-year-old filmmaker, married in 2007.
