Is your local Bob Evans restaurant closing?
Bob Evans Farms (BOBE) announced Monday it is closing 27 of its restaurants. The company said in a press release the move came after a "comprehensive unit-level performance review."
According to an SEC filing, approximately 1,100 workers will be affected by the closures. "The Company is committed to assisting impacted employees by offering positions in nearby restaurants where possible, and where relocation is not possible, termination benefits will be offered to full- and part-time employees," the company said.
Bob Evans said 21 company-owned restaurants, listed below, were closed April 23-24, and six yet-to-be-disclosed leased locations will close in 2017.
