Is Justin Timberlake cheating on Jimmy Fallon? Singer pitches NSFW "Late Night" theme to Seth Meyers
Is this the end of Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon's bromance?!
The 34-year-old singer helped open Seth Meyers'"Late Night" show on Monday with a sketch centered on the one thing he hasn't done yet in his career: write a catchy late-night theme song!
The "Mirrors" singer was so desperate to make it happen that he went to every late-night host imaginable (even his BFF Fallon passed!), with Meyers -- a.k.a. his real "favorite talk show host" -- as his final stop.
Timberlake's last-ditch effort to add "late-night theme composer" to his long resume seemed promising at first, only his suggestions weren't exactly accurate.
Take JT's first attempt, for instance: "Hosted by your No. 1 guy, it's J- to the I- to the M-M-Y."
Meyers was none too amused about his "oversight" and called out dear old Timberlake.
"I think you wrote that song for Jimmy Fallon and he said no," grilled the Late Night host.
Oops!
To Timberlake's credit, he tries again and again and again -- until he gets a little too aggressive with his final pitch. (Spoiler alert: It's super NSFW!)
At least he'll always have this moment with Fallon.
