iPhone 5, iCloud phone: See you in September?

Yes, by now you're doubtless fed up with more iPhone 5 rumors (so are we). But Apple is reportedly close to inviting the media to a big product announcement in early September, according to a Japanese tech news site that's been on the mark in the past, having revealed the correct launch date of new Macs in 2009.

An iPhone 5? Perhaps, but it also might have something to do with a revamped lineup of iPods. Also, the buzz has Apple possibly using the occasion to also unveil a free "iCloud iPhone" alongside its standard iPhone 5.
