"Interstellar" debuts new trailer

Matthew McConaughey is out of this world -- literally, as in not on this planet -- in the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan's new sci-fi film "Interstellar."

The clip lays out the film's premise: Earth is running out of food, and McConaughey's character joins a mission to search space for somewhere else humanity can go to survive. To do so, he has to leave his kids behind -- but not before promising his daughter he'll come back for them.

The film, also starring Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, will be released Nov. 7.
