"Idiot Fencing" is a funny train wreck to watch
(CBS News) Your blogger here can attest to the best and worst ideas happening when a few (cough, or a lot, cough) of drinks are involved in a situation. (Typically the latter.) And while I'm not completely sure which of those two categories this one falls under, it sure is a whole lot of fun to watch. So take a look at some "idiot fencing" in the video above. And don't ever try this at home.
The amateur fencing clip featuring some of the worst swordplay, but hysterical antics, was posted on YouTube by comedian Matt Ingebretson, and features both Ingebretson and fellow comedian Dave Ross. Per a post on the background that led to this clip, he writes on Reddit:
A month ago I got drunk and ordered $250 worth of professional fencing gear. Then I fought my friend. This is the result.Moment of genius? Drunken foolishness? (Does it even matter when it's so entertaining?) While I don't foresee either making the cut for the Olympics anytime soon, we at The Feed applaud them both for their... well, uh... for making us all laugh so hard!
