Ice-T Says that Driving with a Suspended License Allegation is "Bulls**t"
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Ice-T is calling the allegations made against him of driving with a suspended license "bullsh**t" on his Twitter page...and that's not all he had to say.
New York City police arrested the 52-year-old rapper-actor on Tuesday after a traffic stop.
Ice-T's first tweet on the incident reads: "Some punk b***h rookie cop...Made the arrest of his bulls**t career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt."
Police said he was driving a 2009 Cadillac on the west side of Manhattan when officers stopped him for not wearing a seat belt. They say they ran a check and discovered his license was suspended.
The NYPD said he would be given a ticket and released.
Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Marrow, denied wrongdoing on his Twitter page. He claims he has a valid New Jersey license.
The rapper-actor has played Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola on the NBC police drama "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" since 2000.
