HP OpenView Wikipedia Page Defaced [Updated]

HP has its fingers in so many pies, it could have trouble picking enemies out of a lineup. One intrepid Wikipedia editor, however, has made it easier to at least narrow its enemies list down to one sector by defacing HP's Wikipedia entry for OpenView, the application used by customers to manage their technology systems.

Some of the "edits" to HP's page aren't fit for a family publication such as this, but suffice to say that the page now refers to OpenPoo as well as another product called Network Wank Manager. If this is the work of a frustrated customer, it's also clearly the work of a self-hating frustrated customer.

Quite an interesting test of Wikipedia's crowd-sourcing. I wonder how long it will take for someone to react and change the page back. Looks like the page was fixed a little bit over an hour after the page had been defaced -- now that's fast! I wonder if someone at HP is using a software robot that alerts them of any changes to their Wikipedia page. In any case, you'll have to click the history tab to see the penultimate edits which include OpenPoo and the other puerile changes to HP's page.
