How did the stars ring in the New Year?

Stars celebrated the beginning of 2013 with performances, lavish parties and getaways.

Taylor Swift rang in the new year at Times Square in New York by singing her two hits "Trouble" and "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together" during "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest."

Also in Times Square was Train and "The Voice" winner Cassadee Pope, who both gave performances.

Several celebrities, including Brandy and Nicki Minaj rang in 2013 in Las Vegas, hosted parties at some of the city's lavish clubs.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who recently announced that they are expecting a baby, celebrated the start of 2013 in Las Vegas at the 1OAK Nightclub at The Mirage.

Beyonce played a show at Las Vegas' Wynn amphitheater, while her husband Jay-Z played a show with Coldplay at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Celebritie,s including Christina Aguilera and One Direction's Harry Styles, went to the show in Brooklyn where Jay-Z joined Coldplay's Chris Martin onstage at 11:59 to sing "Auld Lang Syne," reported Billboard.
