"Early Show Saturday Edition" co-anchor Erica Hill has been named the news anchor of "The Early Show."
Hill will continue as co-anchor "The Early Show Saturday Edition" with co-anchor Chris Wragge.

Hill graduated summa cum laude from Boston University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She lives in New York.
Hill will replace former "Early Show" news anchor Russ Mitchell. Mitchell has been named a CBS News national correspondent. Mitchell will continue as an anchor of the "CBS Evening News," Sunday edition and correspondent for "CBS News Sunday Morning."
