Hilary Duff addresses Aaron Carter's "uncomfortable" tweets
Every star probably enjoys admiration, but for Hilary Duff there's apparently a limit.
Earlier this year, Aaron Carter professed his still-fiery love for the 27-year-old actress, whom he dated in 2003.
In April, Carter, 26, told ET, "I don't know who she is today, she doesn't know who I am today, but I would sweep her off her feet if I ever got a chance to again and fix what I did wrong."
He also tweeted this:
I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her.
I don't care what ANY of you think. 🙉

Yikes.
Duff opened up about the situation on "Watch What Happens Live" Wednesday. She told host Andy Cohen, "I don't know what to say about it! It was so many years ago. I literally haven't seen him in... so, it's uncomfortable."
Duff further explained that the last time the two stars were romantically involved was more than 10 years ago, a time when Furbies were considered pets and iPods were cutting-edge technology.
"Ohhhh, yes, yes," Duff said. "When I was 13... He was very sweet. When I was 13."
Duff told BuzzFeed last month that she and Carter are now in different places in their lives.
"I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just...don't know each other," she said.
Duff also took a moment on "WWHL" to address the buzz surrounding a possible "Lizzie McGuire" reunion.
"I don't know," she said. "Somebody asked me that the other day, and now it's blowing up everywhere. I'm busy right now, so who knows? Maybe in 20 years. Why not?"
